The Wardlaws
The Wardlaws are made up of Kathy and Michael (Mick), their son’s girlfriend Robyn and son Tim. Mad about League, both Mick and Tim work in construction and have plenty of experience, while Kathy can’t wait to combine with Robyn and bring some creativity, colour and design to the renovation team. The whole family lives together currently, as Robyn and Tim have just finished travelling through Europe and are looking to save for a new house. Tim’s got expensive taste, Robyn’s most likely to blow the budget, Mick works to it and Kathy is the recycler and the peacekeeper.
Kathy
A draughtswoman for Planning Consultants, Kathy didn’t know son Tim and girlfriend Robyn had entered her and husband Mick to take on Our First Home, but she can’t wait to work on the project with her family and test out their potential.
Mick
Mick’s a massive League fan who made his way over from across the ditch, now working in construction as a site foreman. Currently sharing his and wife Kathy’s roof with Robyn and Tim so they can save for a new house, Mick's looking to speed that process up.
Robyn
Robyn works for an accounting firm, and admits she’s nervous about stepping out of her comfort zone with Our First Home. However, she’s thankful for Tim’s parents coming to their aid, and hopes to splash a little bit of creativity over the project.
Tim
Building for a company specialising in high-end houses, Tim’s eager to get a head start in the property market. He’s thankful for his supportive parents, but admits his lack of experience with colours and design is worrying.
