What made you decide to get involved in OFH?    

Karen entered and then told us about the show. At first we weren’t sure, but it really was all about helping them.

What are you the most excited about?    

Being able to help Jono and Karen onto the property ladder. 

What is the best thing about your teammates?    

All teammates are lovely, humble people. I think we will have long friendships with them after the show. We all have so much in common.

What is the most annoying thing about your teammates?

Who in your family do you think is going to find this challenge the hardest and why?    

Oh well probably me, I’m not really an early morning person… I can get a bit grumpy in the mornings.

What was your first impression of your son-in-law?    

I remember when we met Jono. First thought ‘what a good looking guy’. Jono is polite and very caring.

What is your son-in-law’s biggest asset?    

Our daughter Karen.

What do your friends/workmates think of getting into this challenge?    

All our friends and family think it’s a great thing we are doing for Karen and Jono. It’s an amazing opportunity for them to get their first home.

What do you think is your secret weapon in this competition?   

I love fashion and like to think outside the square. Being creative and putting colours together.
